Don't get discouraged by the success of others - they were once where you are now.
It seems like in most interviews with famous, successful and talented people, the common theme is that they are just normal people with a goal - but unlike most people, they just kept turning up.
Training, writing, working, grinding, studying, practicing, competing - DAILY.
Whilst there certainly is a factor of luck and genetics at play, the key is that regardless of where you find yourself now, take steps daily, even hourly, to improve.
Do something right now.
Imagine how strong you could get with just five minutes of push-ups each day for a year? How many books you could get through if you read 20 pages per day? How good you would get at guitar?
