71: The Problem With The Modern School System

overburdened kid

I have worked as a teacher for nine years. In that time I have had experience in many different schools, across all age ranges, systems and demographics.

Unfortunately, for the most part, there is a lot to be desired. Students are regularly disengaged. They dislike the system and often ‘see no point’ to what they are learning.

Because they don’t know why they are learning something, they struggle to find the motivation to engage with it.In this episode I discuss my experiences as a teacher, the systematic issues in the modern schools system, how I overcome these issues and what current students can do about it on their end.

If this episode has resonated with you, I would love your support.
