69: Take Action And Correct Along The Way
It is far better to get a project 80% completed and released to the public than it is to try and get it to 100%.
The better approach is to create a minimum viable product, and adjust where necessary. This approach will have you moving forward exponentially as you will see what is working and what isn’t far quicker.
68: The Real Problem With The Gillette Ad
My response to the ‘controversial’ Gillette advertisement.
I take it down a path I haven’t seen many people exploring.
Namely that regardless of which side of the fence you fall on, Gillette wins. They have got the world talking about their advert and by extension them.
This will result in a massive sales boost. I predict that many more companies will come out with similar social justice adverts moving forward to capitalise on the growing culture of extreme outrage at opposing viewpoints.
67: Update Time (what I've been up to & what I'm working on next)
An update of what I have been up to recently and what I am working on now!
65: Why Persistence Is The Key To Success In All Things
Unless you have persistence, constancy and discipline, the chances of your dreams eventuating into reality fall to almost zero.
It takes time to learn the lessons, develop a practice and hone the skills necessary for success in any area.
In this episode I share my journey both in my writing and personal life - where I have come from, to where I am now, to where I want to be - focusing on what it takes to see real results.
62: Guarding Your Mental State This Christmas
Look after yourself as a matter of priority this Christmas.
The added social and financial pressure of this time of year can be the tipping point for those of us with mental illness or a history or trauma.
In this episode I discuss why this happens, and what you can do to manage yourself this festive season!
61: Vagabonding and Following Your Dreams (w/Fred Saleeba)
Today I am joined by Fred Saleeba. He shares the his journey of escaping the monotony of regular life, into one of vagabonding - travelling the world for the sake of travel, no destination, no base, just for the experience.
This interview gets quite personal with Fred discussing issues with (and how he is working on) self confidence and forming new relationships.
60: This Story Is About You ...
“Believe it or not, I wrote this story about you. Yes, you. The person reading this right now. True, I don’t know your name, where you were born or what you do for work, but that doesn’t really matter.
I am going to be honest. I like you, the real you that is. The you that exists beyond those small details.”
Listen to the rest of your story, as well as find out about the release of ‘How To Get Your Sh!t Together’
