Mindfulness Meditation Mega Course
Want to gain control of your mind?
In this course you will learn how to mindfully meditate and to establish it as a daily practice in your life.
This Course Contains:
- Seven guided meditations (1-20 minutes long)
- Deep level instruction on mindfulness meditation
- Introductions to eight supplementary styles of meditation
- Practical solutions for common problems with meditation
- Opportunities to receive feedback and personal assistance
Why practice Mindfulness Meditation?
Daily meditation will help you to get out of your head and into the present moment.
It will give you some space between you and your mental phenomena, allowing you to observe what is happening without falling into it completely.
It will show you that you are not your thoughts, rather that you are the thing having those thoughts. Knowing this is one thing, but experiencing it is quite another. Over time, and with practice, you will learn that for yourself.
It has helped me to think clearer and handle various life situations and interactions better. It has increased my ability to stay on task and avoid distractions of all kinds.

Class Assignment: Meditation Journal
Task Summary:
For the next seven days you are going to track your progress meditating.
Time Commitment:
Less than one minute each day for seven days.
Detailed Instructions:
Each day, immediately after your meditation, fill in the following information into the project section:
Day #
- Date:
- Time:
- Duration:
- Highlights:
- Issues/questions:
You are to note down the date, time and duration of each sit, as well as any highlights and issues that occurred. You can be as specific as you like, but don’t dwell on it for long.
Upload your journal each day - this will enable me to give you feedback and address any issues or questions that arise.
Why You Should Complete This Project:
A meditation journal serves three purposes:
1) It keeps you accountable.
Starting a meditation practice is easy. Continuing it is challenging as life often gets in the way. But if you are tracking your progress daily, you have another reason to meditate - you don’t want to miss an entry in your journal.
2) You will start to see trends.
Your journal will tell you when you are meditating and how it went. You may notice that when you meditate at night for example, you have a more challenging session than when you meditate in the mornings.
Or perhaps you will notice that you consistently miss your sessions on Tuesdays, but never miss a Saturday session.
Knowing what impacts your meditation and why, will enable you to make appropriate changes - these changes will benefit your meditation sessions and thus benefit your mental health.
3) Ongoing motivation.
Looking back over a meditation journal is very motivating. Each entry represents an instance of you looking after your mental health. Regardless of how you happen to be feeling in the moment, you know that you are taking steps to improve yourself.
