110: There Is No Correct Way To Be A Human
It is vital to remember that there is no one way to be successful (creatively, financially, spiritually, socially).
Successful people (and the unsuccessful alike) will offer endless advice. They will share ‘there truths’. Some of this will work for you, most won’t.
Keep what does, and disregard the rest - and when you get into a grove that works for you … Stick to it!
In this episode, I break down my approach (and folly) in my creative process, and how to avoid getting sidetracked by ‘helpful’ advice.

109: Trapped By The Symptoms Of BPD
Black and white thinking, splitting and looking for the worst in people/events are hallmarks of BPD symptoms.
Personally I find this very trapping. I know I am doing it, and don’t want to cause loved ones duress, so I stay silent (thus remaining trapped). It can feel like their is no way out.
In this episode I discuss this trap in detail as well as discuss how I am working through it.

107: How To Be Successful At What Ever You Do
If you keep turning up, you wont fail - provided you learn from past mistakes.
It is important to remember that every successful person kept turning up. They just kept going, pushed though, put in the work. They started from the same place as all of us. They had many reasons not to put in the work. Yet they did.
They took advantage of their natural attributes and upbringings of course, but they worked. If they can do it so can I - and so can you!

So if you want to lose weight, get fit, learn a language, start a meditation practice, and have a clean house, or if you just want to be well primed to tackle the day ahead; a morning routine is a must.

103: How Neglect Stunts Your Growth
Topic: Neglect is the absence of something. When it comes in terms of physical needs (food, water, shelter etc) the consequences are immediately obvious. However, when it is emotional neglect, and attention neglect, the ramifications are often hidden. In this episode I discuss these ramifications as well as what I am doing to overcome them.

72: Weekends Don't Exist (Ch: 6.7 How To Get Your Sh!t Together)
Weekends don’t exist, at least not for those who want to make a change in the world or for those with a dream.

66: Express Yourself Daily (ch 3.1 - How To Get Your Sh!t Together)
It wasn’t until I tried writing that I saw major improvements as a direct result of treatment.
Unlike talking therapy, I found that I could express myself far more freely onto a blank page. When I sat down to write, I didn’t have to worry about what the page thought of me. It can’t judge. I could ramble, reiterate and back track without concern for transmitting understanding to someone else.
63: Become Present State Aware (ch 1.1 - How To Get Your Sh!t Together)
One of the best ways to reduce the severity and duration of a panic attack (or anxiety in general) is to become present state aware.
This involves taking slow and deep breaths, while focusing your attention onto your senses. What can you see, hear, taste, touch and smell right now? Focus on that!
