103: How Neglect Stunts Your Growth
Topic: Neglect is the absence of something. When it comes in terms of physical needs (food, water, shelter etc) the consequences are immediately obvious. However, when it is emotional neglect, and attention neglect, the ramifications are often hidden. In this episode I discuss these ramifications as well as what I am doing to overcome them.

98: Why You Should Choose To Take The Harder Option Whenever Possible

96: At Least You Are Paid Well ...
Long hours, traffic and stress … at least you are paid well.
Every morning you are in a rush. Cringing at the shrill alarm, you relish the warmth for another second. The sheets are hugging you, the bed is soft. It is almost pleading with you to stay ...
In this episode I release part 1 of Wage Slave, and talk about how good pay can trap people in crappy jobs.
95: The Lag Between Taking Action & Actually Noticing Results
There is a lag between taking action to improve yourself (diet, exercise, meditation etc) and noticing the results of those actions.
Keep this in mind whenever you start a new positive habit. If you know that it will take a while to see any benefits. then you will persevere with it long enough to actually see those results.
94: My Morning Routine (& How You Can Make One Work For You!)

93: Meditation - The Lead Domino For Good Mental Health
If I could only choose one treatment option to manage my mental health, I would choose Mindfulness Meditation.
It is the lead domino for mental health. It will enhance your focus, clarity and ability to detach from negative thoughts.
92: Making The Impossible Possible - Then Remembering How To Do It Again
You have done the impossible, but it just doesn’t feel that special because it is a thing of the past. You have grown since then. The person that found it ‘impossible’ no longer exists. Thus it is increasingly easy to discount those accomplishments.
Try to remember how hard it was, and despite that difficulty, you persisted and succeeded any way.
Realise that this will happen again. What you think of as impossible, will (with time and effort) be overcome, and it too will become easy.
91: Who Is Worse Off? Is It Possible To Ever Tell?
How can you ever know if one person is worse off than another? Given that we all view the world through a subjective lens, this may be impossible. In this episode, I talk about how I approach this issue, and use it to help myself and others.
90: Are You A Wage Slave?
Do you work to live? Or live to work?
87% of people hate their job, to me this is sad, absurd and unnecessary.
In this podcast I Introduce my fourth book ‘Wage Slave’' and discuss how you can free yourself!
I also introduce my next skillshare course: Learn To Lucid Dream: 101
89: Why You Need To Stop Complaining and Start Taking Action Right Now
Complaining about something does nothing to fix the problem. Unless you realise that you are responsible for your healing and recovery, it won’t happen.
You need to seek therapy, do the meditation, read the books and take the medicine. No one else can or will do it for you!
88: Relaxation Breathing To Overcome Anxiety (Ch 1.2 of How To Get Your Sh!t Together)
Slow breathing relaxes the body which in turn relaxes the mind.
Being told to take ‘a slow deep breath’ is so cliche that it is often not even attempted. This is a shame, because it really does work …
87: The Worst PTSD Flashback Of My Life

85: How Can You Trust Someone With A Mental Illness?
By definition, those of use with mental illness think differently to ‘normal’. With that in mind, how can we know if we can trust someone with mental illness? And as a sufferer of mental illness, how can we gain the trust of others?
In this episode I talk about judging people based on actions, not labels.
